Objectives:

• It is proposed that the Amenity Park will consist of a pitch with a walkway around the full perimeter of the park.
• Also incorporated in the Amenity Park will be an orchard with multiple picnic and rest areas. It is envisaged that a playground will be a happy addition to the park!
• ​One of the main objectives was to create a biodiversity walkway joining the National School to the Toughnane Road. This project, Micksey's Way, was officially opened in October 2024 and is being widely used by school children and locals.
