Easter weekend we held a fundraising bag packing event in Tesco Castlebar. Young and old from the community came together to rase funds and we managed to raise over €2400 for our cause.
On the 27th July there was a a race night held in the Village Inn. A great night of craic and banter was had by all and we raised a whopping €4500. There were many winners on the night and there were 3 overall winners.
1st Prize went to Mary Kelly, Altinea
2nd Prize went to Niamh Mongan, Rathruane
3rd Prize went to Scott Lavelle, Ardacarra.
Special thanks to Mary Kelly who donated her prize back to the Park Fund. Unfortunately we don't have any pictures of the night as we were so busy raising money and having the craic!!
